Last June, Off the Grid launched Off the Grid: Fort Mason, a weekly mobile food extravaganza to bring together street food vendors, street food-hungry San Franciscans, live music and good times. It was an instant success. A few months later, Matt Cohen (the mastermind of Off the Grid) and his team, rolled out Off the Grid: Upper Haight and Off the Grid: Civic Center. And he didn’t stop there…
Tomorrow, Off the Grid will kick off its 7th — yes, I said 7th — weekly mobile food festival. Say hello to Off the Grid: Embarcadero Center!
But don’t except Matt to stop here. When I talked to him last month, he mentioned launching events in the South Bay and East Bay. Which is all fun and good eats, but I’m waiting for the news of Off the Grid: Street Food Battle. Matt, let’s talk!
